This year’s recipient is Natalie Baum!
Please take a moment to listen to Natalie when she heard she was receiving this award.
A few things we heard about Natalie were that she is kind, very hard working, and will always help anyone in need. Natalie is always looking out for the best interest of both the horse/pony and rider alike! Congratulations Natalie!

This year’s recipient is Grace Baum!

Please take a moment to listen to Grace and why Maggie was so important to her. Congratulations on your scholarship and good luck at Converse and riding on IHSA team.
Pennsylvania Horse Breeders Assoc. Award for Lifetime Contribution to the Equine Industry Donated by Harry Gill in 1974
This year’s recipient of this prestigious award is Sue Sisco!
Please take a moment to hear from Sue what it means to win this prestigious award. Sue speaks of those that she had admired most early in her career in Pennsylvania and was hoping to emulate. Interesting enough, they were all previous recipients of the PHBA award- Gerry Goldman, Kenny Winchell and Ralph Miller to name a few.
This year the PHSA wanted to honor Sue for her lifetime commitment to the horse and especially promoting excellence in side-saddle. Well deserved!
The Groom’s Award
Donated by Rebekah Robinson to recognize those that watch over and care for our trusted equine partners and in the pivotal role they play in their health and wellbeing.
This year’s recipient is Carter McFadden of Top Flight Stables.
Take a moment to hear from Carter why she loves doing what she does at Top Flight Stables!
The Ray Gambone Memorial Trophy
Donated by the friends of Ray Gambone and presented to the PHSA by Betsy Gambon. Awarded to a parent whose support for their child’s equestrian activities has been outstanding.
This year’s recipient is Kristen Nolte!
Please take a moment to hear from Kristen about this award…
Every year the PHSA awards this to a deserving parent, grandparent, uncle, etc. who supports their family’s equestrian endeavors. A few things we heard about Kristen were that she is always helping whether it’s cheering someone on, mucking stalls, or clipping the horses before heading to Florida, Kristen can be counted on to lend a hand. Mostly though, she instills confidence in her daughters in their equestrian endeavors. So as well as being the Sheer Chance Stable Parent of the year, Kristen is now the PHSA Parent of the Year for 2020.
Again, congratulations from the PHSA Kristen!
