PHSA Horse Show of the Year

Susan Hansen presented a list of criteria prepared by Jennifer Batchelor and suggested to be used for choosing a PHSA Horse Show of the Year. The criteria included good footing, clean rest rooms, courteous office staff, good prizes and good food. The board agreed to take under consideration the awarding of a PHSA Horse Show of the Year.

PHSA Pre-green Hunter Specification

There was a discussion about the number of years a horse can compete in the pre-green hunter division and receive PHSA points. Currently a horse can only compete for one year in the pre-green hunters and receive PHSA points. But, USEF rules allow a horse to compete in pre-green for 2 years. PHSA is being asked by a member to alter the PHSA specifications for the pre-green division for the 2004 show year. It was decided that the board would consider this matter for a potential change in the specs for the 2005 show year; but the pre-green specs will remain unchanged for 2004.

Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM
