The board requested that for the sponsorship the menu and food quality be upgraded, PHSA be able to post a banner (like the horse show of the year banner) in or near the breakfast room; and, PHSA be able to put an ad in the prize list or program.

PHSA Trainers’ Dinner

The dinner will be held on August 5th. Dinner to begin at 6:00 PM at the Denisco home. The Deniscos were the high bidder on the dinner at the 2005 Awards Banquet.

Annual Meeting

Liz is orchestrating the meeting which will occur in conjunction with the banquet. Liz will get the trainers list from Diane Boram & make calls to encourage participation & attendance. If Liz needs postcards designed, printed & mailed she will tell Audrey.

Membership

The board discussed ways to increase membership. Liz agreed to make calls to trainers in February. She will use the point standing sheet that Diane produces which shows how many points a horse/pony/rider would have if they would join PHSA.

Breeding Committee

The board voted to accept the following recommendations of the Breeding Committee:

1.All breeding classes will be split colts and fillies, with the exception of classes for 3 year olds (both horses and ponies.)

2. Classes will be numbered instead of using letters as PHSA currently does. There is a maximum of 32 classes.

3. There must be at least 3 showing in a breeding class for the PHSA present point structure to be awarded (eg 7,5,4.) If there is 1 in a class, PHSA will award 3 pts, 2 in a class, 3,2.
